Privacy Policy
Wizard Wealth ("Wizard Wealth," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal finance management app that helps you see your money in one place. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We built Wizard Wealth to be private by design: your financial data is used only to power features for you, and we never sell it.
1. Information we collect
a. Account & sign-in information
- When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier. We use this only to create and secure your account.
b. Financial account information (only if you connect an account)
If you choose to link a bank or card, we use trusted providers (Stripe Financial Connections and/or SimpleFIN Bridge) to establish a read-only connection. Through these providers we may receive:
- Account details (institution name, account type, account nickname, masked account number, and current/available balances);
- Transaction history (dates, amounts, descriptions, and merchant information).
This access is read-only. Wizard Wealth cannot move money, initiate payments, or make changes to your linked accounts.
c. Information you enter
- Budgets, savings goals, category labels, notes, manual income/expense entries, and preferences you create in the app.
d. Technical information
- Basic server logs (such as IP address and request time) used to operate and secure the service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use your information
- Display your accounts, balances, transactions, and net worth in your private dashboard;
- Automatically categorize transactions and detect recurring bills, subscriptions, income, and paydays;
- Build and track a budget from your real spending;
- Answer plain-English questions about your own finances and generate insights and summaries;
- Maintain the security and integrity of your account.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. AI features
When you ask the in-app assistant a question or generate an insight or digest, the relevant portion of your financial data is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), solely to generate your answer and return it to you. Anthropic acts as our service provider and processes this data on our behalf. If you never use the AI features, no financial data is sent to the AI provider.
4. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share limited data with vendors only as needed to run the service. They are bound to use it only to provide services to us:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on our own servers located in the United States. Each user's financial data is stored separately and is accessible only to that signed-in account.
6. Security
- Bank/card connections are read-only;
- Access to your dashboard requires authentication, and sessions are protected with secure, HTTP-only cookies;
- Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS);
- Access credentials and secrets are stored outside the public web directory with restricted permissions.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
7. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may disconnect a linked financial account at any time, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at tylerbuza12@gmail.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your choices & rights
- Connect or disconnect financial accounts at any time;
- Access, correct, export, or delete your information;
- Choose not to use AI features;
- Close your account.

9. Children
Wizard Wealth is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
